ABOUT THE ARTIST
As a founding member of post punk bands Live Skull and Spoiler, Mark C was an integral part of the hard and uncompromising downtown New York music scene in the 1980’s and 90’s. Live Skull became a favorite of fans and writers like NY Times’ Robert Palmer for their moody, transcendent two-guitar sound.
Mark C continues to take photographs and make video art and performs in o13, an experimental electronic/post-punk duo. o13’s most recent video, Thirty Echoes, debuted in July in the online magazine Cvlt Nation. A reanimated Live Skull will be releasing a new album in November on Bronson Recordings.
