Escape

sometimes I use being alone to escape from being lonely and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t sometimes being lonely insists on keeping me company

I try to keep myself company but sometimes I don’t have the energy for it, especially if I’m wearing myself out but sometimes I’m the only one who can spend time with me so we’re stuck with each other

sometimes I am so excited to spend time with myself that I want to invite everyone I love to share in the adventure and then suddenly I’m alone, surrounded by other people
